Lover’s Language December 9, 2009
I’ve realized that my boyfriend and I have developed our own language. Not really a cutesy type of thing, if I had to describe it as anything I would call it peculiar, that’s the nice way to say it anyway!
I just wanted to start recording the different phrases that, until now, only we would understand beyond face value.
So here goes:
Rice and beans: Referring to body odor or the armpit area.
200 Pounds: (Noun, verb) The act of grinding of one’s teeth. A mouth guard or a request for someone to put their mouth gaurd in (prevents the grinding of one’s teeth in their sleep).
Tension/’tention: Root word- Attention. Involves the invasion of one’s personal space, often in retribution for one’s seeking attention. Often involves tickling, poking, biting, licking, etc. all for the sake of annoying or disgusting the victim.
Brittany: (Adj.)(synonyms: Tracy, Nancy [any name ending in a y sound]) Disgusting, smelly, ugly, or otherwise undesireable.
Lips: (Verb) To kiss.
Chinese girl hiss: (Noun) Origin: (Nicole) Shangnen. Refers to a noise made in response to an annoying comment or to express disagreement.
e.g.: -”Those shoes are ugly”
-”Tsss!”
Popscockles: Origin: Metalocolypse. A synonym for popsicles.
Blose job: Origin: Metalocolypse. Nose bleed
Blanket girl: Also known as a Bed Girl, the Blanket Girl is an elusive creature who coccoons herself in a thick layer of blankets through the Winter months and sheds the layers in the Spring.
I’ll have to continue this later. It’s hard to think of all of them when I try to force myself, but we’ve certainly got more!
In the meantime, answer me this!
